Yeah, i'd love to know how you got sab on Centos... I've been trying for a while now... no success at all. I'm actually installing windows as we speak :-( no point in going to ubuntu as I dont want to learn ubuntu cause I want centos for servers.
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Re: centOS Installation
I'm in the process of doing this and am installing python 2.5 along side 2.4... I'm wondering how sab will use 2.5 opposed to 2.4? I believe when I'm finished with this, the command will be python25 opposed to just python.
Thanks in advance.

centOS Installation
Hey guys, I'm switching my file/sab server over to centos(from windows) and I'm trying to follow the manual but I'm wondering if its possibly out of date? I am not seeing some of these modules available for download at all for centos. On ubuntu however, I was able to install everything with apt-get ...

Re: Items in History = Queued yet stuck
And a known bug, not limited to small MP3 files. Work-around: use the user-defined categories instead. In Config->Categories there's a link that will fill the categories in newzbin-style. You only need to add the folders for each category. The "Create Category Folders" (now in Config->New...

Re: Items in History = Queued yet stuck
Ok, this is an official bug now... I have only tested this with mp3 files, but... Newzbin --> do a raw search and find a small mp3 --> save it into your blackhole directory --> it downloads and is placed in history as "Queued" Every subsequent download is then downloaded and placed in hist...

Items in History = Queued yet stuck
Hey guys, Hope my subject line was of use, I didnt really know what else to put. So here is the problem, no matter how I add an NZB, it will get downloaded and placed in the history with a status of Queued. This all started after I placed an NZB in the blackhole(Watched) folder and it was just a sin...

Re: Donations
Yeah, lets scrap this idea... if hardware is needed, we can revisit the idea. Seems like more trouble than its worth if everyone is happy. Definitely not trying to stir things up.

Re: Donations
The problem with taking donations is... Yeah, i can understand the dilemma. Well, lets not split you guys up over money either. Maybe put money toward things that actually cost like the above guy said. But at the same time, it may just be best to leave things the way they are. I just enjoy Sab and ...

Donations
I have searched the forums and only found 2 mentions of donates both of which were turned down. I didnt bother checking when those posts were made, but either way, I think a donation system would be a good idea. I'm sure there is a bit of logistics to be worked out in that department, but at least i...
