Re: Disk error on creating file
I'm using 2.3.2 and am still receiving this error regularly. I read in some other threads that shortening the path could solve some of these issues. I have shortened the path significantly by using a symbolic link but the issue persists.

Re: Permission's not being set recursively
For those of you wondering what I used as a script to make this happen here is my latest version. #!/bin/sh ### SYSTEM CONFIGURATION ### PATH=/usr/bin:/bin # Root directory where files are located. ROOTDIR=/tank/files # Get category folder name with proper case CATDIR=$(ls $ROOTDIR | grep -i "^...

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Does anyone know of an easy way to contribute to MusicBrainz? I'm finding that there are shitloads of bands and releases that are just not listed in it and would like to find an easy way to put information into it without a shitton of copying a pasting.

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torre
I am having some issues with newznab providers. I have it CP configured with nzbs.su as the only provider. What happens is when CP goes to search for the release it seems to reboot CP. If I clear the log, run a forced search the log shows the same lines as if it was just started fresh. Any ideas? OS...

Re: Permission's not being set recursively
The only way I was able to make it work was to create a post processing script to set the proper ACL on the folders and directories. Solaris (and other Solaris based OS's) have a different acl system for applying permissions on files. I am only assuming that it is a limitation within SAB that does n...

I've been looking at going that route as well. Thanks for the heads up.

Permission's not being set recursively [ZFS/Solarish)
I recently upgraded to SABnzbd 0.7.0 and am having some issues with the permission's not being applied to downloads recursively. SABnzbd is configured with permissions 0775 and only the downloaded NZB's folder has this permission set. The files within the ZFS's folder however only have 0666 permissi...

@philphil:
What OS are you running?
What user is headphones running as?
Does that user have sufficient rights to the destination folder?

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
I have the same issue happening with my setup. I created a category for headphones in sabnzbd and configured them for a /headphones/new and headphones/processed. The files just stay in the new directory and never get moved to the processed directory. Edit: I got it working by checking off "Move...

Has anyone tried it on Solaris, OpenSolaris or OpenIndiana? I'd be interested to find out how well it works.

News: Multiple Canadian ISP's will begin charging for bandwidth come 2011
Hello fellow leechers, I recently received a phone call from my service provider (Shaw Cable) who informed me that I had gone over my monthly limits, a call that I'm sure many of you have received before. What was different about this call was that the TSR informed me that they will soon be charging...

Speed Limit Based on download priority
Hi there, As a user of a Canadian ISP (Shaw Cable) who has decided to move to the dark side, start enforcing the monthly bandwidth limits and will soon start to charge for additional data usage. I have been forced to rethink how I do things. A feature that would be very helpful would be one that wou...
