Re: SABnzbd Automatic TV Renamer, now supporting Windows and Linux
Hehe, don't worry about it, wasn't really asking for support. Got it working though. The whole "sab downloads to temp", "script works from temp to another folder" concept didn't click right away. Again, great stuff!

Re: SABnzbd Automatic TV Renamer, now supporting Windows and Linux
Great stuff dude! It works for me for the most part, but that's probably because I skipped reading the readme... for the mostpart. It does the renmaing just fine though, it only puts the downloads in some completely unexpected folder. No worries though, I got a nice error log to poke around in and s...

Re: nzbdStatus: SAB Control & Monitoring and NewzBin Integration
For some reason I can only use it on my own lan. When I go outside it stops working. I've disabled API key and logon credentials on the server for good measure, but I just can't get a connection to work. The webinterface is available outside, I can browse to my sabnzbd server without problems from a...

Re: Vista Sidebar Gadget
Deleting the files seems to have done the trick. I never bothered to check the refresh timer, I wasn't even aware it was there. (And I certainly never edited the value.)
But all is well again!

Re: Vista Sidebar Gadget
That certainly did the trick! ... and then the next problem surfaced. It was gobbling up CPU power like there was no tomorrow. It was junk a constant 37% of all 4 cores, constantly. Network traffic both up and down were 50kB/s permanently. I decided to remove the gadget, reinstall it, and now it won...

Re: Vista Sidebar Gadget
And after my high praise, I'm gonna chime in here and say that the new version doesn't do a thing for me either. I get connected, but it stays blank. I log on over the local network.

Re: Newzbin down the drain. Alternatives?
Well... having checked out some of the alternatives, I'm praying on my bare knees for Newzbin to pull through. I still have about 150 days left on my account so I'll just keep checking. But loosing stuff still feels weird. One day you're thinking "ah, look at that. By the time my iPod touch ge...

Re: Newzbin down the drain. Alternatives?
Too bad you're a little late to the party. Newzbin was BY FAR the best indexing site out there. I've been using it for years and it really saddens me to see it deteriorate like this. Posts that were there before are disappearing. Let's hope they solve their legal problems and can keep on going. The ...

Re: Newzbin down the drain. Alternatives?
Yeah, I've been doing the same thing. Problem is, I don't always know what I'm looking for and just browse for what's new. Doing that in condensed mode just isn't feasible.

Newzbin down the drain. Alternatives?
It's been a long time coming of course, but now due to their legal problems, there's a lot of reports that either don't make it at all, or get deleted after a while.
Anybody know of a service that equals Newzbin or at least isn't already being scrutinized by Hollywood?
