I'd like to give it a go too - been using sabnzbd for a fair few years now (before this site took over development) - would be interested to see if the RSS thread-thingie-issue is gone in the latest beta.

I just noticed in the log, that the line : ::INFO::[RSS] RSS Feed was empty: http://server:82/myepisodesrss.ashx - message was never written out to the log after the newzbin error - could the issue be there ? The feed comes from a server on my local network - but it appears that there were no issues...

There's no 'sabnzbd.exe.log' file in my directory (it's running as a service with admin rights so I'm not sure why that file didn't get generated).
