Re: "Newzbin is back" anyone else get this email?
I decided that, although I will keep up with Newzbin 2 news with great interest, for now I am going to stick with nzbs.org and nzbmatrix for the time being. I want to give Newzbin 2 time. The admins need to find their stride, the editor support needs to be increased, the retention needs to go up, an...

Re: "Newzbin is back" anyone else get this email?
Now that the site is back I will be watching it cautiously. So far I only downloaded Ubuntu to see if my sabnzbd + nzbdstatus work. They do. It will likely be days before the reports catch up, and I'll take some time to monitor how things are progressing. So far things are looking good.

I don't trust them. Agreed. The way I see it someone that wasn't authorized now has my account information. I'm just hoping payment information is encrypted or hashed. Said account information consisting of nothing but your e-mail address. Credit card info was never stored on the site, btw.

Re: "Newzbin is back" anyone else get this email?
I got the message too. It seems legit IMO. We know for a fact that the Newzbin code HAS been stolen, as has been confirmed by Caesium himself. It stands to reason that someone who would go through the trouble of breaking into the Newzbin servers and stealing their data would do so with the intention...

Re: Choosing a PC for SABnzbd.
Since SABnzbd is one of the most demanding programs I use Actually, PAR2 is the most demanding program. SABnzbd itself isn't so demanding... That's basically what I meant. Since Par2 is in the SABnzbd package I tend to think of the two programs, working in concert, as the same thing. It technically...

Re: Choosing a PC for SABnzbd.
Thanks. I was having a hard time making certain choices, such as whether to go dual or quad core. Since SABnzbd is one of the most demanding programs I use (the rest is word processing, music/video playback, web browsing, and media streaming), your reply has been very helpful. I decided, for my budg...

Choosing a PC for SABnzbd.
I know this isn't exactly a tech support issue, but I'm on the market for a new PC. I'm upgrading from an aging Pentium 4 machine to something more current. Among my chief uses for this PC will be: 1) Downloading with SABnzbd 2) Streaming HD media to my HDTV equipped with a Popcorn Hour A-100 My int...

History Broken.
The history page stopped showing up in the smpl skin, and when I switched to the default skin and tried to access the history page I got the following error message. Page handler: 'ordinal not in range(128)' Traceback (most recent call last): File "cherrypy\_cphttptools.pyo", line 126, i...

Re: Newzbin gets a letter from the MPA(A) [sic]
Everything seems to be up in the air at the moment. No new info as to Newzbin's course of action. Still, it seems like its less a question of if Newzbin will get rid of reports, but when. It's going to truly suck when they do. I too had topped off for an entire year at Christmas. It was the first ti...

Re: Newzbin gets a letter from the MPA(A) [sic]
Unfortunately, it seems Newzbin is panicking. According to this message on their semi-official forum they are planning to get rid of report listings completely and go entirely automated. This will turn the once great Newzbin into a second-rate NZB search engine. Maybe they'll actually create a syste...

RSS Error in Simple Skin.
When adding an accept or reject qualifier to an RSS feed in the Simple skin in Beta 4, changes can only be made to the uppermost feed. For example. I have two feeds: Feed A and Feed B. I can add qualifiers to Feed A without incident, but when I attempt to add a qualifier to Feed B the change will no...

Re: Sabnzbd 0.4.0 Beta 4 Connection Idle.
I've completely cleared my queue and then upgraded to Beta 4. The issue has been completely resolved and I am currently downloading at normal speed. Thanks.

Sabnzbd 0.4.0 Beta 4 Connection Idle.
After upgrading to Beta 4 I am no longer able to download from Usenet. The download status indicator remains fixed at "Idle" for several minutes, then when it changes to "downloading" the speed stays at a fixed 1 kbs. Rebooting the PC and reinstalling the program did not help. Sp...
