I found this happening a lot with all of the alpha's and all of the beta's of 5.0. I went back to using 4.x and I no longer get CRC failures or bad downloads that wont extract. It's something in the 5.x tree.

I would love to be able to test the client, and use the alpha/beta releases to develop a template that i've been dreaming up for about a year now. Usenet is my playground so I frequent it from various systems ranging from OSX/Linux/Windows machines and even my iPhone
