Re: SABnzbd+ Install, Setup, and Configuration Guide for Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)
That's just because you setup SABnzbd+ to use a secure connection (HTTPS). It's encrypted, but it's not feasible to have a certificate to verify it is in fact SABnzbd+ since it's YOUR copy of SABnzbd+. Unless you are sincerely concerned about man in the middle attacks on your specific SABnzbd+ insta...

Re: SABnzbd+ Install, Setup, and Configuration Guide for Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)
Thanks daemox. I went ahead and skipped that step, started the SABnzbd Quick-Start Wizard, and on step 1 get an invalid server address when setting up Astraweb whether i use news.astraweb.com or ssl.astraweb.com. I assumed I could use my astraweb account since I don't have one for giganews. Yeah, y...

If the site is having problems I would just skip the multi-threaded par2 program. I may be removing it in my next update anyway.

Re: it's hard to troubleshoot other people's downloads
It may well be just a ton of shoddy posts I really dislike the whole idea of blaming screwed up posts; typically someone will say they can't download something and asks if it's the poster's fault, I give it a try and have no trouble. Okay, well I'm trying to cover all my bases here bud. If you hadn...

Re: Lots of CRC errors on Extractions of Repaired/Verified Packs
Sorry! 2) You are on Linux and are using your distro's equivalent of unrar-free instead of unrar. The "free" version of unrar is notorious for screwing up even the simplest actions. Solution: uninstall unrar-free and install unrar, either from your distro's repository or directly from RARL...

Lots of CRC errors on Extractions of Repaired/Verified Packs
Recently, more so than not (as in several failures, to one completed ) I've been getting a ton of CRC failures when verified and or repaired downloads go to extract. I am running on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x64. It may well be just a ton of shoddy posts, but I'm hoping there's something I can do to help fix...

Re: How to stop SABNzbd + from automatically starting when an nzb is saved
Unless something has changed that I missed you have to manually configure SABnzbd+ to start at boot-up. Did you inadvertently do this and then wished to reverse it?

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
Am i ever going to be able to add the movies I've already downloaded to couch potato? This is the main reason I'm not using it right now. Add your folder to the renaming tab, Movie Destination and search for trailers or subtitles (no need to enable renaming). The Manage section is what will ultimat...
