Re: Slow downloads

Thanks for all your help so far, I've tried all these, with no effect.
The strangest thing is that some of my downloads last night did download at the full speed, whilst the rest have been downloading at a max of 1 MB/s.

Guess I'll have to live with it.

Re: Slow downloads

Hi, I'm in Europe, tried both regular news.supernews.com and news.eu.supernews.com, and both SSL and non-SSL connections. I use 20 connections regularly, I've double checked my speed limit, definitely not set. Very baffled! In an attempt to rule out the provider as an issue I did sign up for another...

Re: Slow downloads

Hiya, Sorry, of course, queue is just 3 jobs, two are around 11GB, one is 13GB. Usenet provider is supernews (downloads are always fast with Newsbin pro on Windows). One is 227 days old. Another is 442 days old. Final one is 119 days old. I've switched the order around between these particular ones,...

Slow downloads

Hi, Current system is E8500 dual core processor, 8GB RAM, running FreeNAS. SABnbzd version is 0.6.7 (was same story with 0.6.6). Seems very adequate for downloads, but sometimes I seem to get my full speed (around 5.6MB/s), but the last few downloads are barely hitting 1MB/s. The system resources ar...

Re: SABnzbd + Sickbeard does not remove non empty folders

Thanks Shypike, I was kinda thinking that, but wasn't 100% sure about how it all works, must be Sickbeard then! Thanks again :-)

SABnzbd + Sickbeard does not remove non empty folders

Hi, Hope someone can help me! I'm using the latest version of both SABnzbd and Sickbeard, and seem to be having a problem with downloaded folders being left behind when they have files in them, e.g. sub, mp3, etc. I know that I could add these to the cleanup list option, but then what if I actually ...

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!

Renaming works for me again now. Only CP won't delete the download directories with leftover files anymore. Should I do what you suggested in last post for this or is that a totally different issue? It seems that the movies don't get picked up by CP and changed from snatched to downloaded either. F...

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!

Thanks for the additional help on renaming. I've done a git pull and updated with the additional debugging. What seems strange is it now does rename, but only once. Any additional files sent to SABnzbd are just not picked up by CP. I have to restart CP which then allows it to find and rename/move th...

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!

What happens under Linux is that CP creates the folder in the destination correctly, creates fanart.jpg & movie.nfo no problem. In the CP log it shows where its moving the movie file(s) from and to, but doesn't perform the move. I know the problem isn't file permissions as its currently running ...

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!

I'm using nzbmatrix at the moment, although if newzbin gets added as a provider I could use that in the future.

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!

First off, amazing application, well done!!! The main purpose of this post is just a question regarding selection of NZBs. I'm finding that a lot of the NZBs selected contain movie files spanning multiple CDs. It would be really useful (for me at least) if I could have it select only NZBs which cont...

Re: Files being downloaded twice

I uninstalled SABnzbd, cleared my /opt/SABnzbd directory (leaving the configuration in my home directory), and reinstalled. All is now working correctly, no more duplicate files. Really don't know what caused it, but all good now!!!!  ;D

Re: Files being downloaded twice

Hi, Thanks for the replies, unfortunately, its neither of these, I'm not using Firefox at all, and the downloads now matter how I go about asking SABnzbd to downloading them always come twice. How I'm currently trying is via Episode Butler, this goes and downloads the files twice into SABnzbd's dest...

Files being downloaded twice

Hi,

Hope someone can help me with a daft problem, seems SABnzbd is downloading all my files twice and then renaming as per usual default (append .1 to end).
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Many thanks,
Si.
