Re: SABnzbd crashing in Vista x64
Is that 10M B /s not M b /s? That's crazy :o I'm only on 20Mb/s (2.5MB/s) :-[ It might have something to do with the fact that diskeeper was scheduled to defragment the drive last night while I was downloading. The error happened about 4 hours into the download. But when I started it again this morn...

Re: SABnzbd crashing in Vista x64
BTW: do you have a set a memory cache for SABnzbd (Config->General)? A large enough memory cache means that SABnzbd doesn't need the hard disk so much. I have the Article Cache Limit set to "-1" as I was told this allows SABnzbd use as much ram as it wants. I have 8GB's of RAM so it shoul...

SABnzbd crashing in Vista x64
Ok this problem has only cropped up recently. I've started getting errors where SABnzbd will just shut itself down for no reason. When I check the Event Viewer I see this error. "Faulting application SABnzbd.exe, version 0.4.6.0, time stamp 0x48554bd0, faulting module _yenc.pyd, version 0.0.0.0...

Re: How can I move the default "Systems Folder" location?
cheers for the advice. I hadn't realized that you could just put all the files in SABnzbd's root directory. I wasn't looking to make sabnzbd portable however. I have an OCZ SSD drive and I've been having an issue with sabnzbd making my system hang when it was running. From research it seems these dr...

How can I move the default "Systems Folder" location?
Ok I'm running SABnzbd 0.4.5 atm.
I want to move the folder "C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\sabnzbd" to another drive. Is this possible?

Re: Issue with SABnzbd in Vista x64
actually would clicking on the sabnzbd link more than once affect anything? I have it on my quicklaunch bar next to my firefox icon so I sometimes accidentally hit it, and I just hit it there. I've checked task manager and there is only one instance of sabnzbd running, however I've noticed my system...

Re: Issue with SABnzbd in Vista x64
hmm... seems to of settled down for the time being. I moved SABnzbd 0.4.5 onto the C drive but left the downloads folder on my media drive and set the cache to -1. I've also disabled the built in Vista Firewall (I also use Avast and have defender disabled) SABnzbd is using around 80MB's of RAM and v...

Re: Issue with SABnzbd in Vista x64
Your INI file looks OK. The -1 is OK too, it won't use much more than 50/60M (about twice the largest file to download). I have no experience with SSD, but on my 64bit Vista with 4G memory it runs fine. Try 0.4.5, it's just been released. Is there any settings that I could try enabling in the ini? ...

Re: Issue with SABnzbd in Vista x64
I've set the "Article Cache Limit" to "-1", it was previously at "0". Is this advisable? Is there any ill affects of letting SABnzbd use as much RAM as it wants? I've also sent off my current sabnzbd.ini to bugs@sabnzbd.org Could it be the fact that I have sabnzbd runni...

Re: Issue with SABnzbd in Vista x64
It doesn't seem to matter. The last time it happened I had one nzb in the queue. The hanging and slow response times always stop immediately after SABnzbd has finished downloadingpair of dimes wrote: It's not normal.
How many nzbs do you have in your queue?

Possible issue with RC5 or maybe its me being a n00b
Installed RC5 there last night and noticed that my downloads are no longer being separated into their category folders (i.e. movies, games... etc) Is there a new setting to re-enable to force this to happen or has this been removed with RC5?

Re: Theme: SabNZBd plush (concept!)
just want to say didn't really like the "add nzb" bar in RC4 but RC5 looks much better. One thing I would add though is that I liked the ability to hide and show the "add nzb" bar with the "+" icon on the right. Without that "+" icon the right hand side looks ...

Upgrading from beta4 to RC2?
I'm going to be upgrading from beta 4 to RC2, can I just install over the old sab directory or do I need to uninstall sab first? Is there any conflicts or bugs in doing this? Also, the multicore support of RC2, do I have to enable it or does it just detect that i've got a multicore CPU. All help app...
