Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
I saw someone put sickbeard in /var/packages/sickbeard/ and I am wondering, is this not a good idea due to sickbeard's filesize/caching concerns? I thought about that, but found a cache_dir option in the config.ini file (doesn't show up in the WebUI). I set Sick Beard to use the same cache and log ...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Edit: got it working, change the first line of sabToSickBeard.py from #!/usr/bin/python to something like this (respective of where you installed your sab2 package) #!/volume2/@appstore/sab2/utils/bin/python I also added that line to the top of autoProcessTV.py Tho the next time you update SickBear...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Was anyone successful with getting SickBeard to start/stop with SABnzbd? I'm running both on my Synology NAS and would love to have SickBeard start/stop automatically instead of having the terminal open all the time on my home computer. Mike, you can put the sickbeard startup command line in the SA...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Can anyone help set up the SickBeard source to run at startup on my QNAP NAS please? I can start it via python /SickBeard.py but if I close the terminal window it stops of course. Any hints please? Edit: OK I have almost cracked it using Ainers script, but my QNAP doesnt support update-rc.d command...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
I have a small problem. When Sickbeard adds shows it add them as "none" for the category and then it doesn't run the post-processing on the download because only the "TV" category is set to run the post processing. With Newzbin seemingly dead in the water is there another way t...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Ok, I must not be getting it. What do I need to change? I have unchecked the auto post processing, where should my download dir point to ensure this stops? Assuming that you're having the same problem that I was, you need to make sure that your final show/episode directories are NOT subdirectorie...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
::smacks palm to forehead:: My TV Download Dir was the root directory of my episode directories. That basically put SB in an infinite loop of trying to copy the episode files back over themselves. At least I wasn't the only one to screw up the configuration this way.. ::pointing at penguin:: :D Fix...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
penguin: what do you mean your history is processing every second, all day? I've noticed this behavior, as well. If I have "Automatically post-process episodes" enabled, SB appears to process every episode in my folder structure once every 10 minutes. I have that setting disabled right no...
