During the Wizard also not possible to check the server. Manually adding possible but no server online check !

Win 7, 64bit Ultimate. Install as Administrator.

i know. So i tried another usenet provider. The drops are away, so i tried a third...also away. Only at one provider i could see the drops. Sabnzbd has no effect to this speed drops.

Noh here is a network performance screen with set the Cache to 0 and let do sabnzbd the right thing

The speed is much more stable like before. Same server and same file.

Glad you like it. We are working on the phenomenon of uneven download speed. My guess is that you download relatively large NZB's (say 15G+ of data per NZB). If the memory cache is about the size of the largest individual file + 50% you're optimal. BTW: you can also set an unlimited cache, SABnzbd ...
