Re: Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
I added a backup block account from Astraweb and it is definitely making a difference. Downloading the same files I have 5/5 files downloaded successfully so far with no completion errors (1 file had a CRC error while unpacking but I am pretty sure its just a bad post). This looks like the solutio...

Re: Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
Memtest checks out so that is not the issue. I have seen some of the messages mentioned by the OP in topic 4711. Sounds like I might be running into some DMCA posts. Like I said before, I added Newsdemon as a backup but that only lowered the number of missing blocks. Any other options for a bett...

Re: Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
Also failed with Grabit and Unzbin. So it is not the client that is the issue. I will run memtest and see what it says. What are some other issues that could be causing this? Are backlogged TV shows just unpredictable in general? I understand that DMCA notices to Giganews and Supernews could sc...

Re: Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
A tried a re-download of a second file that failed with my newsdemon backup server and it still failed but only has 12 missing blocks as opposed to 45. This seems crazy to me and like an exercise in futility. These files are relatively new and from a show that aired only a few months ago. The one ...

Re: Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
By usenet client you mean something other than Sabnzbd? Like Grabit? I can give that a try. I just tried re-downloading one of these files with Supernews as my primary server and Newsdemon as a backup and it still failed (but went from missing 2 blocks to missing 1 block). I will try Grabit and r...

Re: Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
I am using Supernews and was having bad luck. I signed up for a free Giganews trial and have faired no better. I now realize this might be because Supernews and Giganews both use Giganews as a backend. If my downloads are failing because they are missing only a couple of blocks, might this be fixe...

Horrible Completion Rate - Please Help
I am relatively new to Newsgroups and Sabnzbd, and I am having a hell of a time with getting downloads to complete. I have been attempting to download the latest season of ShowX using Sick Beard and Sabnzbd. Nearly every episode fails for one reason or another. Usually due to a "repair faile...

Re: Newbie Needs Help - CRC errors but can unpack manually
I guess I don't know where the history file is. I just got the same exact error with another file. Same situation again, CRC error "cannot unpack." Yet I am able to unpack it just fine with 7zip or winrar. It seems so strange that Sabnzbd has no trouble with downloading it but struggle...

Re: Newbie Needs Help - CRC errors but can unpack manually

Re: Newbie Needs Help - CRC errors but can unpack manually
It gets flagged as a fail and it does not unpack the file or run the rest of the post-processing script (move, rename). I was able to go into the folder marked as "failed" and unpack the .rar file manually using 7zip. I received no errors and the resulting file seems to be intact and wor...

Newbie Needs Help - CRC errors but can unpack manually
I am running Sickbeard Build 409 with SABnzbd 0.5.6. I have been having fairly good luck with SABnzbd completing my downloads and successfully running my Sickbeard post-processing script. I just recently got a CRC error for a show that I downloaded. I looked through the SABnzbd log and can't real...

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
Does anybody else have trouble with Coach Potato not finding 1080p content? I have had trouble with CP pulling 1080p versions of Avatar and Get Him to the Greek. I am only using NZBMatrix to search. Both movies are widely available on Matrix in 1080p and CP seems to have no trouble finding them i...

Thank you so much. I don't know how I missed that. I feel stupid, but it works.
Thanks again.

Re: Supernews Setup Problems
The supernews homepage clearly states that it supports 256 ssl. That is not the problem. http://www.supernews.com/
I have tried the three ports that they recommend on the supernews site and I get the same error for each.
Thanks.

Supernews Setup Problems
I am having problems setting up my Supernews server in sabnzbd. I am pretty much a newbie to this stuff but I did my best to research and read as much as I could. I simply cannot get past the server setup in sabnzbd. When I enter my SuperNews account info into SABnzbd I get the following error mes...
