Re: SheevaPlug / GuruPlug

Yep. Unlike alot of people, for me, asking in forums is always the last ditch effort.

I just thought it might be a reasonable idea to ask in the SABnzbd forums for peoples personal experience as my google searches only came up with side notes.

Cheers though.

SheevaPlug / GuruPlug

Gents, I was wondering if any of you had and experience installing SAB on a plug computer, i.e. GuruPlug or SheevaPlug, and could provide some advice on how simple it is to do and if it is worth it performance wise? I'm really tempted to pick one up, especially the 1W of power consumption! Cheers, K...

Re: NZB Directory site with auto upload to SABnzbd

Actually, the encryption system I have in place works exactly like Digsby. I only store a hash of the username and password, everything else is encrypted using the cleartext password, of which no trace is stored on the server or stored in cookies. It would be sensible for me to make SABnzbd 0.5 with...

Re: NZB Directory site with auto upload to SABnzbd

Inpheaux, Don't worry, I don't think you are trying to shit on my idea, I appreciate your comments and pointers. Instead of going down newzbin's scraper method, I was thinking more along the lines of nzbmatrix, with users uploading their NZBs. I was considering No. 1, but utilising HTTPS to talk to ...

Re: NZB Directory site with auto upload to SABnzbd

Well, the idea I have is to create a private NZB directory, i.e. invite only, that works like the other public directories, linking to NZBs, catergorising NZBs etc., but linking your account on the site with your SABnzbd server, so when you click a download link on the directory site, instead of you...

Re: Automatically download ALL par files

I think I've solved my issue. My setup here uses a NAS box with SMB. The server SABnzbd lives on only has a small hard drive so I mounted a couple of SMB shares and had SABnzbd pointing at the mounts for incomplete, complete and categorized downloads. It seemed that SABnzbd was not processing my dow...

NZB Directory site with auto upload to SABnzbd

Hi guys,

Had an idea floating in my head for the last few days and I wanted to see what you would think about it.  ???

Would you use an NZB directory site that featured auto uploading of NZBs to your SABnzbd queue?

Let me know what you think?

Thanks,

Kai.

Re: Automatically download ALL par files

I don't seem to be able to find that option. Is it "Only perform post-processing on jobs that passed all PAR2 checks"? If it is, I already have that option ticked?

Thanks,

Kai.

Re: Automatically download ALL par files

Ahh...

Thats what I figured was happening - one rar set was failing, and SABnzbd was giving up. Now I know there is that option, I'll try again.

Cheers mate,

Kai.

Re: Automatically download ALL par files

Ok, so nzb has finished downloading with this error: Repair failed, not enough repair blocks (9 short). That seemed to suggest that SABnzbd had not downloaded all the available par files. I looked inside the download folder and only one par file was available for each set of rars. However, the par f...

Re: Automatically download ALL par files

My provider is Giganews, so again, I don't think thats the issue because I never had this problem while downloading manually (i.e. Newzbin -> QuickPar -> WinRAR). Would there be the possibility of adding another processing option, i.e. "Download All Pars and Delete", as I think for 90% of ...

Re: Automatically download ALL par files

Hi,

Yeah, I did realise and I'm also using an expensive provider, so that's not the issue here.

Cheers,

Kai.
