Re: sabnzbd running cpu on windows at 25%
The only things I have that interface with sab are nzbstatus in FF ans sabconnect++ in chrome (chrome not used all that much). And Sickbeard and Couchpotato. Other than those, just me hitting the gui from time to time Too add to this, my queue is now empty and sab is idle. CPU is around 12-19% and g...

sabnzbd running cpu on windows at 25%
Just curious what the normal cpu should be for sab when it's busy downloading, or even paused. I noticed that my web gui was very slow a couple days ago. So I rdp into my server (2008) and checked the process, and sab was running at 25% on a quad core setup. And consuming 150mb of memory and growing...

Re: par2 seems to hang on ubuntu 10.04 server
I'm not running the multi-threaded version.
I know you all don't control it, but it seems that if the files need to be repaired but not enough blocks to do the repair that sabnzbd doesn't exit right on the process to move on.
I'm not really sure how to describe it.

par2 seems to hang on ubuntu 10.04 server
I did find this post similar to mine but it looks like the OP is on windows server. Anyway, I'm on ubuntu 10.04 and never had any issues till I upgraded from 8.04 to 10.04. Now from time to time, par2 seems to hang on a repair. And it seems only when it can't be repaired that it hangs. At least ...

Re: Unofficial Google Chrome Extension
Great extension, theres just a slight annoyance I found with sending Newzbin reports to sab. On a page listing search results like this , clicking the SAB icon next to a report works fine. The problem I have though, is on a specific report page like this . The only thing I can find is the "Sen...

Re: sabnzbd not closing connections to server down properly?
I'm currently running 0.4.9 and it shows it as disabled option in the server setup. Tick box is grey'ed out. Hrmm.. looking in changelog, looks like it's been there awhile. But it's always been grey'ed out for me in my web interface. thus my stunnel work around. I'll dig into that and see if I bo...

Re: sabnzbd not closing connections to server down properly?
Hrmm... ok.... I did a bit more Googling and found the following:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/327222
I'll see if I can take my Stunnel from 4.21 to version in the post.
Sorry for the cruft.

sabnzbd not closing connections to server down properly?
I'm not totally for sure if this is a sabnzbd issue, but thought I would ask just in case. Version: 0.4.9 OS: Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) Install-type: Linux Manual Skin (if applicable): Plush Firewall Software: pfSense Are you using IPV6? nope Is the issue reproducible? kinda Stunnel4 = 4.21 I have my linu...

Re: sabnzbd is mucking with permissions
I believe I'm seeing similar behavior. I have sabnzbd running as myself (trmentry). I have it set up to use /home/trmentry/usenet as it's place for completed files. It is set for 0755 in the config. /home/trmentry/.sabnzbd/sabnzbd/ is where temp/incomplete, etc is located. I notice that sabnzbd...

Re: directory/file permissions of downloads
I messed around after I made the post and made the 755 change and saw that it worked the way I wanted. One thing... and this is slightly minor... the wording of that line in the gui config section is: Set permissions pattern for completed files, octal notation only! So I made it 0644 b/c I thought ...

directory/file permissions of downloads
I'm currently running 0.4RC2 (RC4 crushed my laptop when I accessed the gui so not sure what was up with that, will test more on that later.). Anyway...I found the field in the config to set up permissions on files and entered 0644 as I wanted the files that way. :) However it appears to create t...
