SABNZBD + Ubuntu + NAS + WIFI + Reboot = Config folders local
I've seen quite a few discussions here around external drive mounting in Ubuntu. Where the config folder kept getting reset to local dirs on reboot. Previously, when my drives were plugged directly into my SAB box via usb I followed these directions http://tinyurl.com/3cxc73d and got it working. Now...

Re: Jquery AJAX and sabnzbd - OK 200 but still getting Firebug error
What is the URL? It won't work if it's a different domain/host from the page that is calling that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_scripting Ya its a different domain. But see now that's the interesting part. It DOES work, the server call makes it to SAB which starts DLing the NZB that it w...

Jquery AJAX and sabnzbd - OK 200 but still getting Firebug error
Maybe I'm not doing something right, I can't seem to get a Jquery ajax request to hit my SABsite without a firebug error. It seems to generate an error when using JQuery.ajax() This is my code: $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: url, data: { mode: callMode, name: callName, ap...

Re: Silent deletes and moves of posts
however, for the response it would be nice if it could generate an xml response also. Maybe I'm not doing something right, but it seems to me that adding a post does not return JSON or XML or even well formed HTML. It seems to generate an error when using JQuery.ajax() var anchor = $(this); var loc...

Re: Everything Fails Verification
Teaching how to setup Linux systems is not the purpose of this forum. par2 doesn't need extra options. Our front page does not point to the tutorial you mention, it points to http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/install-ubuntu-repo Anyway, the tutorial you mention is inaccurate. Can you tell where we link to i...

Re: Speed problem
The speed is unlikely to reach 3.1MBytes/sec when you have a 25Mbit/sec link. Does your ISP actually deliver this speed? How fast is your system? SABnzbd isn't the fastest program, but even with a decent Atom CPU you should be able to get upto 5MBytes/sec. Make sure you have the article cache enabl...

Re: Speed problem
I have also tried both Astraweb and Supernews and tried regular and SSL connections but I can't seem to get any speed higher then 1.5MBs? Shouldn't I be getting closer to 3.1MBps less the overhead? Re: Everything Fails Verification
The multi-core option is only used on Windows and OSX. For Linux you have to supply the par2 program. Since SABnzbd doesn't know what you have it will not pass any default parameters but only what you entered in the "extra" parameter field. Verify that the par2 that is found first in the ...
