Re: Howto: updating in Debian proper
hi, is there any chance that version 3.0 and onwards can be updated through PPA, as before ?? Hi, Your mileage may vary, but I did have success using the 20.04/focal version of the Sab package with Debian 10 in a test VM. You'll have to dist-upgrade to allow the newer version to install. This may n...

Re: 2.3.6 beta1 won't launch on OS X Sierra
We just have to confirm with HorseCalledHorse that the new build runs fine on his older CPU.

Re: 2.3.6 beta1 won't launch on OS X Sierra
Ok, so here is the verdict: The original 2.3.6 Beta1 build from https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/releases build runs perfectly on all my VMs from 10.9 through 10.14. Test 5 however only runs on my 10.12, 10.13 and 10.14 VMs. 10.9.5 and 10.10.5 both tell me that the app bundle is damaged and can't ...

Sounds promising, I'll try that new build on 10.9 through 10.14 in my VMs tonight.

Re: 2.3.6 beta1 won't launch on OS X Sierra
That should have no issue running 2.3.6 Beta 1 Is your version of macOS 10.12.6 up to date with all the patches and security updates? You could also try shutting down sab, then trying a fresh copy of the DMG from here: https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/releases/download/2.3.6Beta1/SABnzbd-2.3.6Beta...

Re: 2.3.6 beta1 won't launch on OS X Sierra
Just tested 2.3.6 Beta 1 on 10.9 through 10.14 in VMs in VMware Fusion as well as on 10.12 as the host OS on a mid-2012 MBP and it launched just fine on all of them. What mac model do you have? I wonder if it's an issue with an older CPU on a mac which still happens to be qualified for current versi...

Re: v2.3.1 on OSX 10.11.6 crashing Help needed
It's working for me! (2006 Mac Pro running 10.11) 10.11 is the absolute highest this old thing will go. Would it be possible for everyone having issues with 2.3.1 on older macs to try: https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/releases/download/2.3.2RC1/SABnzbd-2.3.2RC1-osx.dmg This was built using a diff...

Re: v2.3.1 on OSX 10.11.6 crashing Help needed
It wasn't broken on all systems running 10.11.6, it was broken on older macs from around 2007-2008 and possibly 2009, which was the Core 2 era.
In 2010, the Core i series started.

Re: v2.3.1 on OSX 10.11.6 crashing Help needed
The mac version is being built on the oldest travis build environment possible using xcode 6.4 on 10.10, it contains the sdk for 10.9 and 10.10. So the version of Sab currently shipping is essentially as un-optimized as possible to support the highest number of OSes as possible. Starting with 2.3.0,...

Re: 2.3.0 develop branch - HEAD - rss errors
Your RSS filters are stored in the main sabnzbd.ini file, not the rss_data file.randomorzero wrote: ↑September 6th, 2017, 5:00 pm yea looking through the logs it looks like the rss_data.sab file was truncated or incomplete after the nightly restart. did i just lose all my rss filters?

Sabnzbd 2.3.0 Alpha 1?
Hi safihre,
I was wondering if 2.3.0 Alpha 1 was planned to be released any time soon.
I'm now running 2.2.1, because of the added fixes, so I'm back to OpenSSL 0.9.8.
Probably a good idea to get the new post 2.2.x features into Alpha testing.

Re: 2.2.0 Alpha 3 Regression on certain types of posts
The same job in 2.2.0 Alpha 2 results in no such error and behaves normally.
