well even on a failed download, par2 files are deleted. I have to download the par2 files and run quickpar manually to fix the download.
I've had it on several downloads with the original par2.exe's. A friend of mine had these issue's aswell.

If this happens regularly, you might want to start using the older single-core par2-classic. We have the impression that the multi-core version is very easily disturbed by memory that's "on the edge". (Or just buggy, but we have no hard evidence). Just remove the two par2.exe files in the...
