Cannot write to INI file on MacOS
I have scoured the web for an answer to this, but am not finding anything. I set up Sabnzbd and put in one server. That seems to work and it just sits around waiting just fine. And then I change a setting via the Config menu and it does NOT stick, and I start getting errors that look like: ERROR a f...

Re: Sabnzbd says NZBPlanet is off line, but it’s not
You are right I’m confusing Sonarr with Sabnzbd. My bad. I just spaced out and posted on the wrong forum.
Never mind. (Quietly slinks off feeling like an idiot.)

Sabnzbd says NZBPlanet is off line, but it’s not
When ever I open my browser to Sabnzbd I see the warning icon. And it is always the same problem: indexer offline. And it is (almost) always NZBplanet. But if I go to settings->indexers and click on NZBplanet, then run a test, it immediately comes back with a green check mark, Except if it is really...

Re: Newzbin fetching nzb files
In researching another problem I came across a dubious piece of programming that may explain this issue. With a bit of luck it's solved in the next release. Cool. Thanks. I should warn you, I am known to have a "black thumb" of software. That which will not break for others breaks for me...

Re: Newzbin fetching nzb files
OK, so after I just posted, I restarted the program in console mode again, and to my surprise, ALL the bookmarks that were stuck showed up in the queue. Even ones I thought I had deleted. Not sure what was clogging the pipe, but it seems to have cleaned itself out now. So for now, NEVER MIND! :-) S...

Re: Newzbin fetching nzb files
If you set the logging level to "debug", you should be a able to see SABnzbd trying to access newzbin.com and possibly give extra info about what is wrong. Sorry, I lied, I did not try this because I did not see where to make this change. Looked in preferences. Can you tell me where I mak...

Re: Newzbin fetching nzb files
No port-forwarding is needed. This only needed when you want to expose SABnzbd's Web-UI to the internet. Thanks. I tried all the idea, and I am still not working. The bookmarks ARE read by SABnzbd, as the begin to show up in the Queue list. But they never actually download anything, staying of the ...

Re: Newzbin fetching nzb files
OK. Will give this all a try. It Was working fine and just stopped, so was unsure what changed. Are there router ports I need forwarded in NAT? I did upgrade my routers recently and may have lost a rule. Never thought about that.

Re: Newzbin fetching nzb files
Well, I am now seeing problems with the automatic fetching from Newzbin to SABnzbd. I bookmark something in Newzbin, and then either wait for next update, or do a manual update. I see the item(s) show up in the queue in the form of: "fetching msgid 5801445 from www.newzbin.com" However, i...

Re: Authentication missing, please enter username/password from Config->General ....
Thanks. Not sure who is talking to it. I changed the port to a different number, and the problem has gone away. Obviously, something else was trying to talk to that port number. No idea what though. Will keep looking. Thanks for the answer.

Re: Authentication missing, please enter username/password from Config->General ....
I also have this problem now, and I am on Windows 7, using Safari and since the 0.5.3 update of SABnzbd, I see this error ALL THE TIME now (my log is full of these errors.) I am using Safari, but I have changed browsers and it does not seem to matter. But something in SABnzbd seems to have changed,...

Re: A queu full of duplicates. Now three of each.
Ok, this happened again. I bookmarked 8 or so files in Newzbin, and within a short time, they were entered into sabnzbd queue twice. Anyone else seeing this happen?

Completion "hang" at 0.00 left
Something new in 0.4.3 that I have not seen before: The articles seem to all download (I saw cache files while in progress), and then the queue item just sits in the queue at 0.00 left (ex: 0 D Foo.dat 0.00/3498.51 MB unknown 81d) This stops everything else (note the "unknown" even th...
