SABYenc 4.0.0? - SOLVED
I'm installing sabnzbd from the git Master and I'm having issues getting it to start properly. The service starts, but in the UI I get this: SABYenc module... NOT found! Expecting v4.0.0 - https://sabnzbd.org/sabyenc I checked and version 3.3.6 is installed so I tried updating pip and then update sa...

Re: sabnzbd and consolekit using lots of virtual memory
So the amount of virtual memory doesn't matter? My host system and monitoring tools are all reporting this VM as using 83%+ of it's memory sitting at idle doing nothing. Just annoying I guess. As for the consolekit requirement, if I do an apt-cache rdepends consolekit it shows sabnzbdplus as requiri...

sabnzbd and consolekit using lots of virtual memory
I'm running xenserver with an ubuntu 14.04 guest that's doing my downloading and media management. I noticed that on this VM the memory usage was reading really high. Upon closer inspection I see that sabnzbdplus and console-kit-dae are the top hogs. Two questions: 1. Why does sabnzbdplus depend on ...

Re: Suggestions for a good USENET provider
Just an update. NewsHost rocks. No problems, 900 day retention, unlimited downloads and every download that starts so far has finished.

Re: Suggestions for a good USENET provider
I'm trying out newshost right now and it appears to be working better. I'm not sure how sensitive this forum is, but I've had downloads of certain movies stop right in the middle of the download and never finish. From what I've gathered it's because the files are being deleted to comply with drm p...

Suggestions for a good USENET provider
I'm using astraweb, but it seems they're deleting what I'll call the important downloads for my media center. Does anyone know of any USENET providers that don't sway to the whims of Hollywood?

Re: Newbie, messed up job options, now where are my downloads?
I checked that, but the files weren't where the history said they should have been. Oh well, I'll redownload, guess they drifted off into the black void of /dev/null...

Newbie, messed up job options, now where are my downloads?
Trial and error. I set my Post-Processing job options default to Download thinking it would just download the files and leave them in the completed directory. I was apparently sadly mistaken. It's downloaded several files and I can't find them. I changed Post-Processing to +Delete and everything...

Re: Cheapest of the cheap services?
I know I'm new here, but I just thought I'd throw out there that I've been messing with ipv6 all day and that appelboor site doesn't work. I have ipv6 working through a HE tunnel, verified working, but that site still says I don't have ipv6 connectivity. Also, thanks for the info here. I signed up...
