Re: Last few MBs of every files take @ 2 hours to download?
I've seen this when propogation is really slow while downloading very new posts. It affects all nsp's except the original poster's in this case.

Nearly all remote nzb's that I ...

Re: autostart sab-daemon with proxychains
Debian and derivatives are replacing SysV with Upstart. Upstart will easily do what you require. Hopefully the sab deb packages will support Upstart sometime soon.

Nothing special here. About 4 days nzb's is all you'll see unless you fork over $10.00
binsearch, mysterbin and nzbs.su all far better imo.

you haven't indicated what distro you're using but if it uses upstart then may do it. also don't run applications like sab as root.
Code: Select all
service sabnzbdplus start

Re: Windows 7 64-Bit - SABnzbd runs for a bit, then inaccess
have you checked that sab is still listening on port 9090 when it becomes inaccessible, using netstat?
have you checked the application event log? they're the first two things I'd do.

Register. Install their java-client and launch it. Start download something from usenet. Sniff your login and password (not registered ones) with Wireshark. Profit.

My hope is that SAB will do something like itself, so that my script is not necessary anymore. Edit: improved script on http://www.appelboor.com/sander/nzb-ch...

The script doesn't work for me when using my news server us.thundernews.com. It returns a login error and I'm positive that the login details are correct. Also cannot get a successful login using netcat but have no problem using Sab to login... strange. Do you have any suggestions on how to debug th...
