Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
@midgetspy: this board just seemed more active than sb.com :) My problem is just one post above yours. You should post it on sb.com so we can make that more active and then more people will post issues on there. That way it will be much easier to find issues with different threads instead of a 70+ ...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
I've been having a weird problem. All of a sudden SickBeard will not find any shows. For a test I am trying to download Rubicon 1x07 (which was previously downloaded on 09/05/10 from SB). When I hit search I see the following line in my log: Sep-08 13:18:02 INFO CP Server Thread-8 :: No download...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Recently, SB has been snagging two copies of the same episode for several different shows. It grabs them within about 10 seconds of each other. (The files that are downloaded are identical.) For example (from the History page): 2010-08-27 03:33:54 Futurama - 6x11 Snatched NZBs 720p TV 2010-...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Sick Beard is still junk into /dev/ram on my Qnap I made the change to config.ini (cache_dir = /share/MD0_DATA/Qweb/sickbeard-cachetvdb) as suggested earlier in this thread and noticed a big improvement, however its still junk into it to fast for my liking, Any other suggestions? Really? How much a...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Thanks that is working fine now. The only other issue I have noticed is that on the Qnap Sickbeard eats up the memory. Prior to using Sickbeard I have only had to reboot the Qnap once due to a memory bug with Sabnzb which has been fixed with the latest release. Whilst using Sickbeard and getting al...

I figured out how to get git installed on my Qnap NAS
1. Install Optware .ipkg
2. ssh in and type "ipkg install git"
Done

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration,
Looking at the commands this works at Ubuntu / debian It doesn't work on a Qnap NAS. I tried from Ubuntu 10.04 connected to my Qnap and it doesn't see the git command. Doing the manual update worked just fine for me. Is git installed ? as you need this ofcourse to use the commands It seems like it ...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration,
I followed this chaps helpful advice and installed sickbeard through a git client. http://www.jetshred.com/installing-sickbeard-on-mac-os-10-6/ I just cd into the dir and do a 'git pull', new version in seconds. Make sure SB is not running though. Thanks for this. Does it matter what platform I am ...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
I found this guide: http://code.google.com/p/sickbeard/wiki ... eSickBeard and it seemed to work out perfectly.
I was surprised how easy it was, so to anyone else looking to upgrade and can't use the git command, use that guide.

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
I have a question about updating SickBeard, I did some searching before and I couldn't find anything on it - if this has been posted before please just point me towards that and delete this. How is everyone updating SickBeard from github? Do you just drag and drop the new files or can you run some t...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Ah, ya this has been requested (and rejected) before. "Downloaded" means just that, that you actually have the file. If you don't have the file and don't want it then mark it as Skipped (which is the default). As for the second part of your question, I'm not sure I understand what you mea...
