Like the thread title, another pc in my network. E.g. I had an htpc running sabnzbd and controlled it with my laptop. "Remote computer" is probably the wrong term.shypike wrote:What is a remote computer in your case?
One that is within your local network or one that outside on the Internet?

Re: Access SABnzbd from other pc in my network
This thread came up on a google search so I'm just going to spell it out a bit more: Go to your sabnzbd page > general > sabnzbd host Change to 0.0.0.0 Run cmd, type "ipconfig /all" without quotes Find IPv4 address (will have "(Preferred)" next to it). e.g. Mine was 192.168.8.111...

Change default download folder
Is there a way to change the default folder that SABnzbd reverts to when it's not connected to the network drive. For example, I have it set to process files to a USB drive on the network. If that network is not connected, SABnzbd defaults to User/Documents/downloads/complete, but I'd rather the i...

Stop Episode Butler from Opening Browser at Startup
I feel like I am missing something obvious, but I can't find where to stop Episode Butler from loading its page in the browser on startup. Any help?

Re: Change Download Directories in Ubuntu
Thanks for the help. I'm away from my computer but now that it's not late night or early morning, I just realized that it's probably because sabnzbd can't create the complete folder without sudo privileges. I shall see tonight, though. Thanks again!

Re: Change Download Directories in Ubuntu
If /media/Data/complete is usable in another piece of software, SABnzbd should acceopt it too. The best test is a terminal window where do test something like: echo Hello > /media/Data/complete/test.txt If that gives an error message, then there's something wrong. Yeah, it gives an error message of...

Re: Change Download Directories in Ubuntu
Sorry this might be really obvious but I'm new to the linux file structure. I'm trying to do something similar -- make the complete folder on a different drive. I tried using the file path from the folder's window "/media/Data/complete" -- should there be something else in front of that...

Re: Ubuntu 9.04 and SABnzbd 0.4.9 from jcfp : ERROR: CRC failed
Crap, I just installed Linux for the first time this weekend (ext4) and looking to install sabnzbd as my first non-point-and-click application install. Is it doomed to fail? Have you tried previous versions of sabnzbd?

Re: List of Third-Party Addons
Episode Butler looks like it could be great! Particularly with its integration with TVRage.com. Still a few things I don't understand about it, like the quality question, but hopefully the developer will sort the docs/faqs and kinks out soon. The real test will be this month when new seasons start...
