There is an app called hiss http://collect3.com.au/hiss/ that takes growl notifications and put them in the Mountain Lion notification center. I can't get it to work with sab though

I've turned to http://nzbs.org/ They have a great working automated RSS that I've hooked up to yahoo pipes.

Which os? If it's a mac it's gonna create the drive under /Volumes anyway. It will be stored on your local drive.

I've had the exact same problem. I solved it by using Safari instead of Firefox when configuring! Plugged in external HD, started SAB, dragged'n'dropped the desired folder into the Safari browser when I was at the folders configurations site, and it worked like a charm
