double clicking .nzb starts another instance

Post by joeshmo »

I am currently on .8b5, Windows 10. Always install via the installer. Originally on 0.7.2, upgraded to beta 4 via installer, then upgraded to beta 5 via the installer.

Currently when I double click a nzb, it starts another instance of the application on different port. So if I look at my system tray there are two instances and it's downloading in the newly launched instance. What's worse is that it's overwriting the configuration file with the new randomly selected ports.

I attempted reinstalling which didn't help.

It happens because you are using HTTPS.
At startup, SABnzbd is trying to connect to itself and verifies the HTTPS certificate.
Which isn't valid because the certificate is self-signed are therefore not trusted.
We have a fix for the next release.
