Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
I find doing a Force Disconnect usually fixes downloads that are stuck at 99%.
Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
I see. I did not get any errors that i saw so not much to go on. I will look at the log next timeshypike wrote:Stuck at 99% is a different problem than stuck at 100%.
The latter we fixed.
The former is much more complicated; so far we haven't been able to reproduce it.
The difference is that, at 99%, there are still articles to be downloaded.
What we've seen so far is that it can be caused by servers timing out on missing articles.
Update:
This is what I've got

does it give any clues?

If you click on the folder icon of the job, you should get a popup.
Does it say that it still needs some files?
BTW: you can force the job to post-processing by settings its priority to Stop.

Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)

Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
OK, so you say that restarting SABnzbd solves the issue?
Then it's definitely not the 100% problem.
It's the old 99% problem coming back to haunt us.
From what I can gather (not being able to reproduce the issue) is that
SABnzbd needs a few more articles but those are somewhere stalled the queue.
Restarting will refresh the server connections and some internal bookkeeping
and the articles will be fetched anyway.
So far we have not found a cause, let alone a solution.
We do realize that it is an actual issue.
Setting priority to Stop will help in most cases, because the extra articles often aren't needed.
(Either some overshoot when fetching par2 files, or repair will take care.)

OK!
It does say 100% complete due. I'll take a screenshot next time. What happens with the "100% problem" ?

Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
Stuck at 100% with no files to download is a very specific scenario, having to do with QuickCheck and the "download all par files" option.
We solved that.
Any other stalling job should show some partial files that still need downloading.
Please inspect the job details.

What you saw in one of my posts is whats in the log. But you are talking about the "popup" dialog when somethings in the queue? I'll do that next time it happens.shypike wrote:Stuck at 100% with no files to download is a very specific scenario, having to do with QuickCheck and the "download all par files" option.

Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
What job details? there's no popup or extra details, at least not in the new default skin. And if I change skin I have to restart and you know what happens then :p
But here is a screenshot showing 100% like I said earlier
http://imgur.com/zb1l3fm
btw, the img tag function here on the forum don't seem to work.
ps: I also tried that thing you said about setting it to "stop" when I did that it started to unpack, did not download anything extra. So this sounds to me like a either the client don't know the download is complete. Or it does but don't know what todo. I haven't looked at whats changed lately, just guessing.

The details are under the little folder icon which appears if you hover the mouse cursor over the title.
Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
I'm quite sure that I tried that but I will look again next timeshypike wrote:The details are under the little folder icon which appears if you hover the mouse cursor over the title.
What do you mean by hovering over the title? If you mean the job title I've already tried that and there's no pop up not with the new default skin anyways

Re: downloads sit in queue at 99% (fixed... ?)
When you move the mouse cursor over the title, you'll see a little pencil and a little folder appear.
The pencil allows you to edit the title.
Clicking the folder icon will show the list of files.

Terminology.
When I say "job details", I mean the list of files.
