Hey there,
Using 2141 and I'm having a weird issue with TV shows being downloaded from RSS feeds. Once the download is complete, the entire directory gets moved into the appropriate TV show folder, but doesn't get extracted. For example, Lost was downloaded yesterday and got put here:
/mnt/raid/media/tv/Lost/Season 5/Lost.S05E04.720p.HDTV.x264-CTU/
with all the rars still in there, unextracted.
The post-processing options for TV are all set to Default and I'm not having issues with any other downloads (they get extracted fine). Also, if I download a TV show from newzbin directly, it will extract fine as well.

Re: [trunk] not extracting TV shows from RSS feeds?
In the relevant Config>RSS entry, what is the mode set to?
Eg:
If it is set to Default, what is the default post processing in config>switches?
Eg:
Code: Select all
Default
Download
+Repair
+Unpack
+Delete
Re: [trunk] not extracting TV shows from RSS feeds?
Thanks for the quick reply,
The RSS feed is set to "Default", and under the Settings -> Post-Processing -> Default Post-Processing: +Delete

Re: [trunk] not extracting TV shows from RSS feeds?
I noticed a similar issue on a version I got from the a few days ago (sorry not sure which version), it's not with RSS feeds, but many of the TV Shows I was adding didn't get extracted. All downloads were set to Repair+Extract+Delete, and the TV Category (as set from Newzbin), was set to Default. I set the TV category to +Delete now, tested with one show and it seems to be working with explicitly telling it to R+E+D.

Re: [trunk] not extracting TV shows from RSS feeds?
I feel the need to reiterate the issue:
If I go to newzbin and add an NZBID or use my bookmarklet (I use a bookmarklet that adds the NZB directly to sab from a newzbin report page), it gets added to SAB correctly, the category is properly set (to TV) and when the file is downloaded, it's extracted and placed in the correct show's folder/season#.
However, when a show is detected in the RSS feed and added to the queue, this is when I'm getting the issues. I should note however that the RSS feed isn't a newzbin feed (it's tvnzb.com) but the category is still set to TV and in theory, should use the same post-processing options.

Re: [trunk] not extracting TV shows from RSS feeds?
TV season handling is in dependent of the categories.
The category determines final folder, post-processing options and user-script.
The TV sort works separately from those (it does use the final folder).
You do need to set a category in the RSS definition.
You can set a general category per feed or one per filter.

Re: [trunk] not extracting TV shows from RSS feeds?
That may be the case, but it doesn't fix the issue

switch/shypike :
I've narrowed down the issue and can now recreate the problem on multiple machines. I've included screenshots to show you what I mean.
The problem occurs when a TV show gets added to the queue (whether automatically or manually by clicking the "Download" link beside one of the entries in the RSS feed). The problem? The post-processing options are left blank (see attached picture, the column for "options" is blank). No matter if the RSS feed is set to "Default" or even "+Delete" to override the default, every queued item from the RSS feed won't have any post-processing options.

In the future, please don't post uncensored images of what you are downloading on the forum, thanks.
No need to repost them, I will take a look at the issue tomorrow.

I actually realized that a few minutes after I posted them and you had already replied.
In my defense, all the items were paused.
