Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Hi, I am not sure if this issue was corrected on 2.3.2, but just wanted to report that I haven't had the problem any more since I installed 2.3.2.

I'm using 2.3.2 and am still receiving this error regularly. I read in some other threads that shortening the path could solve some of these issues. I have shortened the path significantly by using a symbolic link but the issue persists.

Path issues were a problem on Windows, on other systems (macOS and all Linux) this is not the case.
Like Sanderjo also wrote, it's usually something with the filesystem or OS's that breaks this.
All SAB can do is ask the system to create a file, if it refuses, not much more it can do..
