SAB: 2.3.9
Sonarr: 3.0.3.834
UnRAID: 6.8.3
Today I got this error from Sonarr:
Unable to parse file on import / downloads / completed / Series / Defending . Jacob . S01E08 . 2160p . WEB . H265 - GHOSTS - xpost / abc . xyz . mkv
After processing ‘Defending Jacob S01E08’ a folder was left in the / downloads / completed with a file “abc . xyz . mkv”
It seems like the uploader has included a sample files in the package.
In SAB, I have enabled “Switches > Ignore Samples”
Should the ‘Ignore Samples’ option make sure that samples like ‘abc . xyz . mkv’ was removed from the uploaded package, or is there another option for that?
Samples: abc.xyz.mkv not ignored?

Re: Samples: abc.xyz.mkv not ignored?
I think it needs to be added to the "samples_list" or what not, in the source.
Otherwise, the simplest way may be to implement a post processing script that manually removes these garbage files.

Re: Samples: abc.xyz.mkv not ignored?
Indeed samples should be removed, but only if it has the word "sample" (or "proof") in the name. These are detected as samples.
There was a bug in SABnzbd 2.3.9 that sometimes sample-detection would not work.
It is fixed in SABnzbd 3.0.0, although that one is still in testing.

Re: Samples: abc.xyz.mkv not ignored?
Can I rely on SABnzbd 3.0.0 as my main downloaded or is it only for testing?

Re: Samples: abc.xyz.mkv not ignored?
I installed SAB 3.0.0Beta2
I asked Sonarr 3.0.3.849 to search for 'Upload' season 1.
Upload S01E03 gave this error in SAB: "Unpacking failed, unable to find ccAUryTREfOErOhmieGHEi.part10.rar"
Sonarr found S01E03 on another Indexer that SAB completed.
After the 'season 1' was completed, there is an empty folder left in download/completed: "_UNPACK_Upload . S01E03 . HDR . 2160p . WEB . H265-SKGTV"
The '/tmp' has a folder "Upload . S01E03 . HDR . 2160p . WEB . H265-SKGTV" that has an _ADMIN_ folder and a lot of 'xxx.part' files.
I don't know if this is a Sonarr or SAB issue?
If you are interested I have a SAB 'debug-log' I can upload to Google Drive and link to here?

This is what they're saying over at nzb dot su
"there's new obfuscation methods, if you dont use something that can convert with sfv, you'll have to manually rename them. Check with nzbget and find out when they plan on fixing it?"
