Re: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength
I dont get TLSv1.3. I have always TLSv1.2. I have enter AES128-SHA but no different.
Re: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength
Are you sure you are not having 1.3?
Could you copy here what the status Windows is showing for the server?

I don't understand what the problem is then?
It shows AES128-SHA, so what is wrong?

Re: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength
Lol but its not TLSv1.3. You understand now??
Re: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength
No I don't understand.. It is only TLS v1.3 if the server offers it. But your servers don't support it yet.

Re: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength
But then AES128-SHA does not bring any advantage.
Re: Increase performance by forcing a lower SSL encryption strength
It seems that these specific servers have decided to have lower encryption by default on the server-side, they are both owned by the same parent-company.
I also noticed this. Probably also reduces server-load on their side.
If you try a different provider, they will enforce stronger encryption.
