I have HBOMAX and have the ability to download the new HOUSE OF THE DRAGON using Sonarr. For some ridiculous reason no matter what Sonarr throws at it, SAB indicates ignoring duplicate and discards the job. I can even RENAME the *.NZB file and it still discards the file. To get around this I would casually purge my NZBbackup folder. No big deal. Not this time. Even if there was NOTHING in that folder SAB would indicate it is a duplicate and discard the job. The only way I was able to get around this was to turn off "Detect Duplicate Downloads". Why would SAB even come back and tell me it is a duplicate if there isn't anything in NZBbackup folder? I'm going to leave duplication checking off for now until this weird issue goes away.
Running version 3.6.1 on Windows 11. It has worked awesome in the last couple of years. Just little problems by tweaking some things. Seems I can't fix this issue.

Re: Always indicates duplicate
It uses the history database as the primary check.
There it checks for the showname + season number + episode number.
So empty the history if you want a fresh start.
