Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

been busy, but sorry to dredge up this topic: i don't think this issue has been corrected in 0.4.8 (for me at least). i just added a set of nzb's from the homepage and while the categories were populated correctly, the post-processing was not. minor inconvenience, but i just thought i'd bring this up again.

Can you email your sabnzbd.ini file (remove the passwords!) and some failing NZB's ?
