Recently I started seeing these two messages. This was after having some really poor download speeds for about a week. It was usually in the bytes not in MB.

Doing some quick searches I didn't find any answers. I had disabled my Avast anti-virus for a period of time but this didn't seem to change the behavior.

I am not seeing these messages on news.tweaknews.eu but that is a lower priority server, its just a block account I use for missing files.

I am on the latest release of Sabnzbd and this is running on a Windows OS

How many connections have you configured to news . newshosting . com and news . supernews . com?

I am allowed 30 for supernews and I have reduced it to 29 to see if that was the problem. The issue still happens

Two things:

Do you use a VPN?

Lower the number of connections temporarily to 10 per newsservers ... still errors?

I don't use a VPN. I lowered supernews to 10 and still got the messages.

Seems my performance issues are back this morning as well. I have 1gb fiber connection

Weird. Is the cause in your Windows, or on your LAN, at your ISP, or at your newsprovider?

To determine that:

1) do you have another device (Windows, NAS, ...) that can run SABnzbd? If so, try on there
2) If your Windows has Wifi: Use your mobile phone as Hotspot, and do the SABnzbd download (for example Test Download 100MB) via your mobile Hotspot. If it still happens, it's not your LAN and not your ISP, but your Windows, or (unlikely) your newsprovider
