location for download

Post by jwhitt12 »

I am running with ubuntu 22.04.

I am trying to set where sabnzbd sends the results of dealing with an .nzb file. Right now everything is going to Downloads.

have been using sabnzbd+ for a very long time but, for some reason, I have screwed it up. I suspect my main problem is with:
download_dir = Video/incomplete
download_free = ""
complete_dir = Video/complete
complete_free = ""

I am simply not sure what they are really for. In reading it says that these are based on the home directory which is on /home/greg/. It used to be when it was downloading it was in Video/incomplete and when it finished it went to Video/complete. Now its all going to Downloads.

Thank you.............

I thought I would just send my sabnzbd.ini which might show what I have done wrong.

Right now sonarr would like to visit sabnzbd but its not happening. I have it pretty screwed up I fear.

Hmm can't see why it would end up in Downloads.
Are you sure Sonarr isn't moving them there?

You can always just remove your sabnzbd.ini and start fresh, or back it up and try recreating your setup?

None of it makes much sense. There is no 'download' in the ini file nor in sonarr as much as I can tell. Its a mystery. I just got a notice there was an extraction error. That will have come from Sonarr but am not sure. I will give your suggestion a try.

Thank you for the reply!

nzbget uses 'download' when it has a problem. I also got nzbget failures. Seems, over the years that nzbget has made some changes that I didn't - now fixed, tests seem ok. We will see........

So you are here on the Sab forum while it's an nzbget problem?
