Most of it seems to work, but i cannot change the download order from the gadget anymore. But then again, i can just wait for the new release.

ah i think i know where the bug in the gadget is

as for the new gadget i am making great progress
ill soon post a video that shows some new features!

when i have solved it the sorting will be the same as in the old gadget

Thanks a lot for this great gadget - it's unbelievably useful!

I am using it on a version of the vista sidebar ported to XP.  I had it running fine a while ago, but lately, it doesn't seem to work at all.  I have it all setup fine, and when I hit "Try Connection" it comes up "connected", but no downloads are listed in the main window.

I have recently (this morning) tried upgrading to the most recent sab (0.4.9) and the gadget (as per your sig), and put the api code in, with no difference.

What i would like to do first off is to do a complete uninstall of the gadget.  I can delete the folder from c:\vista sidebar\gadget, but not sure where the settings live? I assume this is in my docs and settings somewhere?

the  vista sidebar running on XP has an other folder where the gadgets are located. if i remember correctly it could be in program files.

did you use the newest gadget? (the one in my signature).
becouse this is the only version that will work with the newest sanbzbd+ version.

allso sometimes the sidebar (Internet Explorer) has a weird caching problem, close the sidebar (the whole process sidebar.exe) and go to internet explorer en clear history and cookies. sometimes this does the trick!

To have access to ealy release, you can become a release testers (link) .
Testing with 3rd party tools is useful for us.

Well, i'm using the 0.5.0 alpha2 release at the moment, and running Windows 7 and Vista, so i would like to test your new version if possible.

Hi I installed the latest Gadget with the latest sab 0.4.9.  It says connected on the options tab, but i cant see the progress of anything and cant pause or play sab with it.
Reinstall of the gadget doesnt seems to fix this.

Im on Vista64 SP1  so far SAB itself is working properly...  Any ideas??

riversde - that's exactly the problem I'm having with the gadget.  In the options tab, it shows "connected", but it doesn't seem to "see" sab.  I have also reinstalled sab and the gadget (getting the most recent version of each, and putting the API key in)

I have tried deleting the gadget, and also the txt file that holds the data without joy.  I also tried clearing IE cache, as per the advice, but that didn't help any.

In one sense, I'm please it's not just me - suggests that its not because I'm running it in XP.

Any other ideas?

hmm, the "connected" message only checks if it can connect to the webservice.
if i remember correctly it does not check if the webservice returns a sucessull result.

i will look in to it!

oh wait, are there any warnings in the sabnzbd+ log?

I've just run a test, and there are no errors in the log, even when I test the connection in the gadget, or try to pause etc.

I've rechecked the API and password with no joy (Im also running the firefox addin, which works fine)

Ah, how stupid I feel!   

Turns out, there is a little left and right arrow at the top right of the gadget.  When i move it to "None", then I can see the downloads fine

Thanks a lot for the help anyway - riversde, it might be worth checking you weren't being as stupid as me!
