Hi there,
i have a Synology DS216 NAS (Marvell Armada 385, 2x 1.00GHz, 512MB DDR3) running and cannot get faster download speeds than 13 MB/s on a 250 Mbit line while downloading via SSL (tried both ports 443, 563).
Switching SSL off leads to download speeds near 29 MB/s which equals my line bandwith.
Is a DS216j not capable to handle more SSL (AES256) traffic than 13 MB/s or is there a chance to change that?
I'm just asking before buying a new NAS. Upgrades my line recently and discorvered that lack of speed.
Tia,

No higher download rates on SSL than ca. 13 MB/s possible with SABZNBD running on a DS216 Diskstation?

I'm not a fan of it, but read https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/ssl-ciphers ... the first paragraph.

I will try that out und report

Setting SSH ciphers to CHACHA20 was the solution. AES128 stressed the system still too much. With the SSL cipherCHACHA20 my bandwith is my bottleneck again.
