new sabnzbd install erroring

ok i changed pcs so my old server that was slowly overheating was transfered to my spare pc

i did a fresh install of ubuntu (this time 9.04)
i installed sabnzbd from the synaptic package manager (figure that will mean it will be kept uptodate as i was a version or two behind)
i then set it all up

now it will download fine it will get bookmarks from newsbin on its own fine but... if i goto config and tell it to get bookmarks now i get the following error
error: Session Key Required

if i click on show script output i also get the same error

i have tried removing and reinstalling, i have tried different pcs to access and even different browsers
what am i doing wrong?

It's a bug in release 0.4.9, we'll release a fix soon.
Have you tried another skin (Plush or smpl)? I think it works OK in those.

changed to smpl and then couldnt add any files (add the report id from newsbin and it stayed at fetching report id)

went back to default this time rebooted the whole computer not just sabnzbd and it picked up my book marks (20 of them) all are showing as fetching id etc etc

ok while writting this its slowly placing them witht he corect name 1 by 1 (really slowly and after a long deley)
have to say im really not liking 0.4.9.
