I am in the middle of implementing TV folder sorting, as I couldn't find a good post-processing script for windows. This is very simple sorting, nothing advanced like in auskento's media processing script for linux.
These are my current folder naming options that will be selectable in the config page. Please reply if you want another one added.
For now folder sorting is only being added, I'll try to add filename re-naming after.
Folders:
\TV\Show Name\Season 8\12 - Episode Name\filename.avi
\TV\Show Name\Season 8\Episode 12 - Episode Name\filename.avi
\TV\Show Name\Season 8\filename.avi
\TV\Show Name\8x12 - Episode Name\filename.avi
\TV\Show Name\s8e12 - Episode Name\filename.avi
\TV\Show Name\812 - Episode Name\filename.avi
Filename:
Show Name - 8x12 - Episode Name.avi
Show Name - s08e12 - Episode Name.avi
Show Name - 812 - Episode Name.avi
s08e12 - Episode Name.avi
8x12 - Episode Name.avi
812 - Episode Name.avi
(episode name is only provided if nzb name is in format "Show Name - 8x12 - Episode Name.nzb")
This won't make it in 0.3.1, but a later version.
Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
Would love this feature, When your going download crazy it takes sooooooo long to sort it all out, would love to have this avaliable.
Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
Hi Switch,
Will we be able to specify a different destination directory for these sorted shows, or will they remain in whatever the default download folder for sabnzbd is?
If not this is sill appreciated. I think this post-processing is where sabnzbdplus can really shine and it's nice see it start to surface outside of the custom scripts.

Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
Why do you want to move them? (Just interested in your answer...multiple drives? keep tv shows somewhere special?)
At the moment it is just the default download directory, it can also put it inside the TV folder if it was not added via newzbin.

Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
Hi Switch,
I do indeed have different drives for shows, so good guess
It's not critical that the script be able to move them automatically as I can do that myself.

Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
This would be ace, I have a seperate TV folder (different to download location), but then it opens a whole can of worms, for moving movies, applications etc.
Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
Add an option to just keep the filename the same and this would be excellent
Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
For now, I am not adding the renaming of files, just folders.

Re: Feedback: TV Folder Sorting Options
i would vote for \TV\Show Name\Season 8\foldername.avi
but instead of filename.avi it would be the name of the folder, that the file was in. i download with newzbin and it would download as:
SHow Name - SeasonxEpisode - Episode title\filename.avi.
i have already written a script that renames the filename.avi's to the names of the folders, but this would be brilliant, and much more automatic than my method.
