I'm new at this, so it's likely I've missed something, but I can bookmark anything in Newzbin and within 15 minutes it's queue'd up and downloading just fine. Today I tried bookmarking a bunch of reports on Newzxxx and none of them queue up. So I downloaded the nzb's to the Watched Folder, and still they won't add to the queue... Any idea what I'm missing? I am running Sabnzbd+ 0.4.11, from a Windows Home Server on port 8081. Seems to be working great besides this issue.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
Just a bit more info, hopefully this is helpful. Here are lines from my log where I attempt to import a nzb file directly, but it just removes it immediately from the queue:
2009-05-31 00:23:52,092::INFO::[newzbin] Successfully fetched XXXXX and XXXXX 4 (cat=XXX) (msgid_YYYYYYY XXXXXX and XXXXXX.nzb)
2009-05-31 00:23:52,092::INFO::[nzbqueue] Regenerating item: SABnzbd_nzo_66mhxo
2009-05-31 00:23:52,171::INFO::[sabnzbd] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\cache\SABnzbd_nzo_66mhxo removed
Now why would it do that? I've poured over the config sections and I can't find a setting that would remove anything from the queue unless it was completed...?

Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
There's something odd going on.
On Linux it seems to work OK.
However, when I load the NZB file on Vista, it initially works.
But afterwards no new jobs enter the queue anymore.
I have to clean out everything before new jobs can enter the queue.
I will have to dig deep into this.
Keep me posted about your progress too.
Can you add other NZB files? Which OS do you use?

Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
Wow, you discovered a real obscure error!
See Ticket #285.
Fixed now in the trunk.
Work-around: set an explicit priority (not default) when entering the NZB in the queue.
I think the problem occurs for newzxxx, because those NZB-s do not have a standard category
and therefore no priority will be set.

Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
Thanks for pointing it out! I'll look for the next build, but until then I'll set a specific priority.
So it's running on a Windows Home Server with the latest updates/patches. My desktop is running Windows 7 64-bit RC, but I think it should only matter what machine SABnzbd is running, right? Oh well, looks like this is the fix.
Thx - eddie

Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
Just to be clear, bookmarks at Newzxxx will not work in any case, right? This fix is only for importing nzb's directly into SABnzbd+ or dropping them into the watched folder, right?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
If newzxxx bookmarks don't show up between your normal bookmarks on newzbin, they will not be seen.diggityDawg wrote: Just to be clear, bookmarks at Newzxxx will not work in any case, right?
We have no specific support built-in for newzxxx and probably will not add it.
Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
just a quick question. When adding the downloaded .nzb file from newzxxx.com the data gets added to the queue and looks ok. However, download does not start... is this going to work, or should I just leave it?
Re: Newzxxx bookmarks & nzb's won't queue up...?
If the NZB results in a visible job in the queue (and it contains files, check this by clicking the title),
it should work.
Once the NZB file has been downloaded and parsed, it makes no difference where it come from.
