In the SABnzbd logging I see that send-group command is actually sent.
Checking with Wireshark I now see that the group command is transmitted, but AFTER the request for the article.
Could be a multi-tasking problem.
If this problem is for real, it's been in there for the last 3 years.

It is however bad behaviour on the part of the server, not to send any reaction.
The proper response would be "Article not found".

Confirmed: it's a real bug.

It's fair to say that the feature never worked properly, it was already incorrect when we took over the project.
Only now we see it because your server fails to respond correctly.

This will be solved for 0.5.0.
Not sure if we will still tackle it for 0.4.x.

I'll contact you as soon as I have a test version for you, if you're still interested  :D

I love the power of wireshark in action: nothing is more true than the bits on the wire  ...  :)

As a tester I will have an issue with this in the meantime:
since the news admin of my provider has also confirmed a bug on his side and fixed it now.

This means that 0.4.11 now starts working again regardless of the "send group" bug.

Never mind, the bug needed fixing anyway.
If you're still interested, I uploaded SABnzbd-testgrp-win32-setup.exe to the place you downloaded 0.5.0 from.
