TV Sorting Questions

Post by ouldsmobile »

Hi Everyone,

I am new here. Used Sabnzbd a long time ago but just getting back into it now, much has changed and for the better by the look of it. I am mainly going to be using this program for the TV features so that is where my questions currently lie. I am planning to use an RSS feed from the MyTvNZB site. I have picked my shows and have my feed all setup and ready to go. The RSS feed will be setup to use the tv category. My issue seems to lie in the folder aspect, it isn't really clear to me. Here is what I want to happen. This is on Linux if it makes a difference.

Completed downloads are configured to go here -> /media/stuff/Downloads/Newsgroups/complete/

I want TV shows to end up in -> /media/video/TV/Show.Name/Season #/Show.Name.S#.E#.Episode.Name.ext

In categories for TV folder/path I have -> /media/video/TV

In the TV Sorting configuration box I have this -> %s.n/Season %s/%s.n.S%0sE%0e.%e.n.%ext

In the example it displays like this -> Example:  /media/stuff/Downloads/Newsgroups/complete/Show.Name/Season 1/Show.Name.S01E05.Episode.Name.avi

Will what I have above work the way I want it currently? The "example" string is throwing me off making me think I will end up with a bunch of TV Shows in my /media/stuff/Downloads/Newsgroups/complete/ folder rather than in /media/video/TV/ where I want it.

Thanks,

Kevin

The example shown does not take into account any category settings (because people could have multiple TV related categories set up).

The final post processing with place the files in the location of whatever category the download is set to.

Thanks, that is how I figured it would work but thought I would ask just to be sure.
