I've done a fair bit of windows scripting but haven't got the slightest clue on linux based scripts and being too lazy busy to learn something new right now, thought I'd ask for some help in here!
I'm sure for someone in the know it's fairly simple but I'd like to have a pp script that copies files from my sabnzbd+ output dir on a QNAP NAS to a share on a windows machine.
I could do a scheduled job on the windows host but I'd rather tie the whole workflow to the nas and not worry about it.
Basic script would just copy file
Fancy script would check if win share available, copies file if it is, reschedules in x hours if it isn't, sends notification mail on completion/failure.
Anyone doing similar that I can steal or give some pointers to something I can butcher to achieve?

NAS copy to Windows help please!
Re: NAS copy to Windows help please!
Hi,
i have no programming skills but i'd love to have such a script on my ds-207+.
A fancier script would wake up on lan the windows machine to copy achieved download and send a message once copying is done to get windows sleeping...
Until then, i use flashfxp to manually fxp the files from my nas to my windows machine.
