"Access denied to your node" at reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl whats wrong??????

Post by 69matrix69 »

Ok here is the story, I have been using ivp6 connections for 2+ years now and i have it pretty well figured out I think. I just did a format of my c drive about 3 weeks ago, I set up my connection, i use go6, now gogo6.net to connect me to the tunnel, which works fine. I use Newsbin for my newsreader. i use 3 servers.
news.ipv6.eweka.nl
newszilla6.xs4all.nl
reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl
I set up a script in notepad to run the servers as im sure you have seen before like this:
netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=1118 connectaddress=news.ipv6.eweka.nl connectport=119
netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=1119 connectaddress=newszilla6.xs4all.nl connectport=119
netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=1120 connectaddress=reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl connectport=119
Then i put in Newsbin
localhost for the address, and I just need to match up the port I have on listenport in notepad with the port i put in Newsbin and it all works out well.
well it has been until this past week. For some reason this past week, now i can only connect to server 1, and 2, but on server 3 I get the error
"Access denied to your node"

I have tried signing up for 2 more accts with Xsnews as i thought maybe my acct got frozen, but the other 2 accts do the same thing. I know you can only use 1 acct to your ip address, so before you ask, no i did not nor will i use both or all 3 of these accounts at the same time.

i shut my router off and unplugged it to try and see if that would fix it, it did nothing. I disabled my network adapter inside windows, and then re enabled it, that did nothing.

i pinged the address in dos and I’m connecting:

C:\Users\Admin>ping reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl

    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 273ms, Maximum = 401ms, Average = 348ms

At this point I’m at a total loss and can’t remedy the issue. i just did a format and clean install of all my stuff less than a month ago (and took about 12 hours installing all the crap) so I don’t want to reformat to fix this issue if I don’t have to. Can anyone give me an idea of something to try?

Same for me, I remove this server.... consequently I am looking for free servers for IPV6 mode.

Any other proposal on top of:
news.ipv6.ewaka.nl:119
newzilla6.xs4all.nl:119

Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers

reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl works now with username and password. Registration is freely available (gratis).

"Access denied to your node"

Normally means that Username or PW are wrong.
Or maybe you are not allowed to that server anymore

That, or xsnews is temporarily refusing sessions from 2001:0: (=miredo/teredo) sessions. Easy way to check: "telnet nntp". My guess is that you get the refusal immediatly (EDIT: so not a password thing)

FYI: my site http://www.appelboor.com/newsserver.txt is saying "reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl -- IPv6-only -- max number of connections is 25 . Binary response  (Account needed?) 480 Authentication required for command", thus the server is not down.
