sabnzbd - all version including alpha

Hello,

i am new to all this. I have been given the chance to try alpha versions due to the fact of slow speeds and other issues on OSX. Im hoping someone out there is also having this issue or had this issue and knows how to fix it.

My isp is Sky Cable (In the Philippines)

I have to use port 23 on my news server which is (astranews) in order to get FULL speed. If i use 119 (I get 12kbs). Currently , I am using hellanzb.

[Total] 808.0KB/s, 907 MB queued, ETA: 00:19:09

Now, If i change to sabnzbd and setup the server the same way using port 23 etc with 20 connections. The connections themselves timeout and the speed is around 10-50kb/s.

Anyone know a fix? or anything?

I tried with SSL + No ssl. I cannot even add a NZB via the interface. Only the watch folder works. I tried on 5 diff macs.

I was hoping for a mac dev on the team to look at this.

Hello,

I have tried using the SRC + the packages for both the alpha + normal release.

The ops in the #ssabnzbd channel even went onto my computer to check the setup. and said it looked fine.

With the src version I tried using python 2.4 , 2.5 and 2.6.

Please let me know ANY debug info you need. I really do want to get this working.
