OS X Menu bar integration

Post by gers1978 »

I love this feature, and was just wondering if the devs took inspiration from SABnzbdX, or did the X team have a hand in it, as they're very similar in look & feel.

The creator of SABnzbdX is rAf, who is our OSX developer and maintainer. I believe he simply just merged/duplicated his work into the OSX version of SABnzbd.

Basically yes ;)
Many functions that I've ever wanted to integrate in SABnzbdX were tricky to add.
I hope you like the new menu :
- try to press alt button when displaying the menu to access more features
- in history, when you click on a entry, this will open the final destination folder
- if you click on Complete Folder or Incomplete Folder, it will open the folder.

Great, thanks.

Why did you have a separate app (SABnzbdX) before? Just wondering….

Because at the beginning I have no clue to how merge the 2 projects.
And now there is one ability that SABnzbd will never have (never say never...) : the abillity to monitor mulitple daemons...
It's why I'll keep developping SABnzbdX.
