Hi, I'm running sabnzbd+ 0.4.12 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The unrar process appears to be adding some small corruption to the resulting files. For example, I downloaded two disc images. The first I did not auto-unrar while the second I let sabnzbd+ handle. The second disc image successfully unrar'd, but the resulting CRC was not correct. For the first image, I extracted the file in WinRAR under Windows and the resulting file had a correct CRC. I have gone back and checked all of the disc images I allowed sabnzbd+ to unrar, and all have various spots of corruption which throw off the CRC.
Any idea what the issue could be?
File corruption after extraction?

Re: File corruption after extraction?
Either unrar malfunctions or the upload itself was corrupt.
We recently updated the unrar in the Windows distribution,
I'm afraid we forgot to do it for OSX.
Can you email the NZB file to bugs AT sabnzbd.org?
We will examine this potential unrar problem further.
PS:
We had some similar complaints for Windows and Linux.
Either there's a bug unrar-3.80 or it has problems with
rars generated by rar-3.90.
I was under the assumption that we updated unrar for OSX too.
Alas, it hasn't.

Re: File corruption after extraction?
Sorry for the long delay in my reply; I've been quote busy as of late and had forgotten about this report. I have emailed one of the affected NZBs to the email address you gave. Thank you.

Re: File corruption after extraction?
Any update on this? Is there a beta or something with a different unrar version I can try? Thanks.
Re: File corruption after extraction?
There's the Alpha program for 0.5.0, if you're interested.

Re: File corruption after extraction?
i hope this is the same problem i am having. i'm using win7 though, going to try to do no post processing through SAB and do it manually.
It seems like any download over 1 GB fails, whether it is 1 or 300 days old. really starting to piss me off.
using 4.12 and astraweb is my provider.
