can't get sabnzbd working on my mac

Well not frequently but I have heard of it happen at least twice before.

I've checked on 10.5 on macbook pro (wifi and eth) and imac, with and without firewall, with and without ipv6, localhost works for me.
I don't understand where is the problem...

@wilsonfisk could you try 0.0.0.0 as host and retry to access by :
http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd
http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd
http://[::1]:8080/sabnzbd

hosts file on OSX is in /private/etc/hosts, mine contains :

tried changing host address in sabnzbd's config>general to 0.0.0.0, and all the above addresses work perfectly. now i can use the sabnzb app to start it with no problems and now im going to try using your GUI.

I know this is an old thread... but I have the same problem, running the newest version of SABnzbd+. I am new to Mac so I'm not sure how to find the config file. I am also using the latest version of Safari, so those Config changes to the Host setting are not applicable to my setup.

Can someone walk me through how to correct this?

I couldn't find the Sabnzbd directory on my mac under Application Support. I went to the following file path:
Users/Me/Library/Application Support/ ... no sabnzbd folder.

When you say newest version, do you mean 0.4.12?

If so, it will be in a hidden folder ~/.sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc12
