Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
What you see are the raw article names. These often contain the name
of the Usenet provider where the data was uploaded.
There's no relation with the server that you use for downloading.
Cheers for the fast reply shypike. Had been weird to me for a while as before this I was getting eu.news even though i was using us. It seems to go in rounds though as all my files are currently showing giganews, and before they were all showing eu.news.astraweb.
So almost everything in that window except the top part doesn't relate to where I am connecting, just what is coming in?
Thanks again shypike. So the only thing that matters is the
ssl-us.astraweb.com:563:25
and i opened a nzb with wordpad and it does have those lines saying giganews in it, under the section . So really the giganews part is just an internal file name. Cleared up so much for me. Thanks.
