Speed limit for slow connection

Post by engine9 »

Hi all,

I'm running Sabnzbd on OSX.
I like the feature where you can set speed limit from the menu bar the only problem is I have a 512k connection so the pre-defined speed limit value are way to high for me.

How can I change them to something like 10/20/30/40?

Thanks

Go to Config->General, section Tuning, item "Download Speed Limit".
Here you can set a permanent speed limit in KBytes/sec.

The limit control you are using now is temporary.

Yes this is great, but I'd rather set a temporary limit like when I'm browsing but the rest of the time "full speed" is fine and having the possibility to set that limit directly from the menu bar instead of going through the config panel would be nice.

The temporary limit can be set in the main UI page too.

Yes but what's nice with using the menu bar is that you don't even have to open sabnzbd page.
Anyway if it's not possible, it's not possible I'll keep doing the way I do now it's not that hard.
