Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
After upgrading from 0.4.12 to 0.5.0b4, I get the following error repeatedly.
2009-12-22 12:33:57,625 WARNING: Failed to retrieve RSS from http://blabla.com:
What is causing this? I haven't tried to find out what's causing it yet. DNS problem maybe?
Version: 0.5.0 beta 4
OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Classic white-black
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? No
I got some other errors now. These are from the same RSS-feeds. As I have not done any changes at all with my network, I assume this has to be somewhat related to the upgrade from 0.4.12 to 0.5.0b4.

And yes, the feeds work just fine using both Firefox and IE on the same computer as SABnzbd+ runs on.
I did not get any errors like this before the upgrade.

I've got several more of the errors above - again. I'll send the URL's to the provided email a bit later.
However, when I woke up this morning, I had 532 items in the queue (totaling over 3TB). I assume SABnzbd keeps some kind of log of what files it has already downloaded, keeping it from downloading those files again. I assume this log has been lost/deleted/corrupted in some way - without me doing anything. I tried to see if I could find anything in the logs, but they where not updated since 26.12.09 (the date I upgraded from 0.4.2 to 0.5.0b4). Why is this? The info in 'General > Folders' are correct - but the files there have no entries since 26.12.09.
I was not sure whether or not to make a new thread for the above, as some of it seemed somewhat related. Let me know if I should make a new thread though.
There is no "log", except when you use the NZB backup feature and
have the setting "Don't download the same job again" option on.
The RSS feed admin does contain processed titles, but that's not re-used
when you go from 0.4.2 to 0.5.0.
It's weird though - that it didn't happen before now. It's been downloading fine from the RSS-feeds since I upgraded. Wasn't until today this happened.
When I was talking about no log entries since 26.12.09, I meant the sabnzbd.log-file.
If you run SABnzbd long enough (weeks) you will encounter this problem
from the ISSUES.txt file:
Sometimes logging stops. This is a notorious bug in Python logging. SABnzbd will
function as normal. If you run from sources or use the --console option with the
Win32-binary, you will see that logging continues in the console window, but
nothing will be written to the log-files.
I find it quite odd that it stopped just a few days after I upgraded from 0.4.2 to 0.5.0b4 - especially since the upgrade involves restarting the service.

Restarting the service doesn't work.
You stop SABnzbd first (through it's own UI).
Then you stop/start or restart the SABnzbd service in the Windows Service Manager.
Release 0.6.0 will have proper service support (without svrany).
Well, this is what I did when I upgraded from 0.4.2 a couple of days earlier.
(In my opinion, shutting it down, and starting it, is equivalent with "restart").
But if it's that random, that it could stop within days, then fine - not much I can do about it
