Upgraded from 0.4.12 to 0.5.0Beta6 and remote download directory no longer works

Hi All,

I just upgraded from 0.4.12 to 0.5.0Beta6 and the first thing I noticed was an error in the log stating: ERROR: Cannot create directory Z:\Sab

I have a network share and have always used Z:\Sab as my directory without any problems.

If I try to change the directory in the settings (Completed Download Folder) I get this error:

Incorrect parameter

Cannot create complete_dir folder Z:\Sab

I thought this might be a permissions problem (I run Windows 7) So I checked "Run as administrator" but that did not help.  I double checked that Z:\Sab was actually reachable which it was. I also tried Z:/Sab which didn't work either.

Has anyone else run into this?

For the record I also tried various different cases such as z:\sab, and z:\Sab but none of them worked.

Very strange.
Please try the full UNC path instead (like \\server\share ).

On what kind of device is the share?

Thanks for your help!

I tried the UNC path and it worked perfectly. I am using a Netgear Readynas NV+. I've always had Z:\ pathed to it and nothing changed on that front so I am not sure why there are problems there. I'm just glad its working with the UNC path.

I have no idea about the cause.
I can still use drive letters mounted on my Windows server.
